NEA caucuses are internal member-only groups. Caucuses exist and operate independently of NEA and have no authority to speak for, or act on behalf of, NEA.
NEA Peace & Justice Caucus will advocate that the NEA works to:
- Reduce violence.
- Promote tolerance.
- Increase awareness of basic human and civil rights.
- Support the right of workers to organize and bargain collectively.
- Work for world peace & disarmament.
- Reduce the military budget and increase funding for education and other social needs.
